The HOOFix Emergency Trail boot is a must have 'spare tire' hoof boot that helps protect your horse's hoof when you're riding and lose a shoe. These boots are easy to put on and take off and stay on your horse's hoof during the ride...walk, trot, canter or jump...dry ground, mud, or water.
They provide solid traction as the bottom of the boot incorporates ground tires. These hoof boots are extremely lightweight (less than 5 oz.) and very compact so they're easy to carry. Unlike other trail boots, our HOOFix Emergency Trail Boots are mad of a soft, yet strong fabric that conforms to the horse's hoof. (Caution: sharp rocks may cut the bottom of the boot.) This breathable fabric boot eliminates the rubbing problem on the coronary band or heel bulb caused by many other boots. .

Sizing guidelines: All HOOFix Boots are fabric boots and flexible. They may vary slightly in size. Boots and pads do not need to be an exact fit to your horses’ hoof, but should be as close as possible to size. It's better to select a boot sized a little large than too small.
Approximate size of boots: (in inches – width x length, measured straight across the boot)
Small: 5" x 6"
Regular: 5.5" x 6.25"
Note: Red HOOFix Treatment Boots run a little larger than the black Emergency or Trail Boots.
